Following is a chat log I have had with a DQP supporter, regarding the civil court ruling today. The funny thing is that this was a person who tried to convince me to vote for Hassan Saeed because he is from Addu. His argument to counter mine (I was in favor of MDP candidate, Mohamed Nasheed) was if we want to expedite the development of Addu the only way was to elect Hassan Saeed as the president as he is from Addu and loves the place so much that he will do everything to ensure Addu becomes the second Male'. Their campaign strategy was, and I remember as if it was yesterday, so "WATHANEE". Their main theme was (apart from the many anti-campaign slogans related to Temple Flower and how unreligious Anni was) electing somebody from Male' as the president of this nation will not help our cause; he will neglect Addu as Maumoon has done in the past.

BTW, he did abruptly ended the conversation; perhaps I was playing too close to his heart and clicked a few veins which still flows "vathanee" blood in it.
